Just had to share my last 3 days with you. I drove my new (to me) 19 Ft. Roadtrek to Dunedin, Florida and parked it right across from the amazing Pinellas Trail....the first rails to trail facility in Florida. The first day, I biked to Tarpon Springs for lunch and back. Total miles 18.6. Second day, I biked south to Clearwater til the trail got a tad seedy (I'm alone, remember?) so I came back to the charming town of Dunedin and tooled up and down the bay on a lovely trail graced by beautiful homes overlooking the water. Total miles for that day...28.5. Boo Bike and I sailed along on one of the most beautiful trails in the country.

Know what I wish? I wish I could hook up with other women with RV's....we could meet up at a campground....bike all day....and commiserate in the evening around a communal dinner. Now...this time my campground was directly across the road from the bike trail...how handy is that?

Just tossing out an idea. Thoughts anyone? I go alone as my husband isn't interested in RV'ing or biking.

Best to all:

I don't know about the RV, but I ride in the central florida area with the bobbies. We've ridden anywhere in Clermont, Eustis, Astutula, Mt. Dora, both Orange and Seminole counties. We meet in Winter Park usually and they have rides for all speeds (only road biking though) If you're ever this way and want to ride, look at luvbobbies.com. I know where Dunedin is and is a nice place, but I'm in East Orlando so I dont have the time to get out there often. Have fun riding and stay hydrated!
