Does anyone own one? Our LBS started selling them and they said once people started buying them, they'll see how good these really are.

I have a Rocky Mountain Vertex TSC. It is a hardtail, scandium frame and it is the first bike I have ever owned that I will never get rid of, no matter what bike I eventually upgrade to. It handles perfectly, is lighter than heck and you would have to pry it out of my cold dead fingers in order to take it away from me.
So I guess that means I give Rocky Mountain (or at least mine) a big thumbs up.:D

No, but I live next to some! :D
Sorry I just couldn't resist the cheesey joke. I saw the title of the post, and then your question confused me.
(Disclaimer: I once did a small contract for the company that owns Rocky Mountain.)
I think they're quite good bikes. Hand made or hand assembled (depending on the bike) in Vancouver, BC (Canada), with lots of care and craftsmanship.
Especially good mountain bikes. Road bikes are not their specialty, but they look very good, and there's interesting options...

I have a Rocky Mountain Fusion. I like it and I like the disc (k?) brakes. It is much better than my old piece of junk. I am a roadie at heart though so I don't have a lot of knowledge of the various mountain bikes out there.
