I am VERY happily married for 9 years going on 10 and I was riding behind him yesterday and could not help but notice how GREAT his legs look and how good he is looking.
But, I have to say we passed a HUGE pack of riders out yesterday on the way to the LBS and DANG they looked good. Riding out here is REALLY big esepcially up on the mountain paths and along the mountain. I don't know if it's age, or just realizing what great bodies cyclists have but these guys were hot. DH even was like ok, Jenn, you can stop staring now.:o I'm married, not dead! He'd say the same thing, but just won't admit it!;)

I saw a few of those guys myself yesterday. The trouble is, I have gotten so picky. well, his legs aren't as well defined as I like. Well, his posture isn't so hot.
I'm mostly kidding here. I love to be around bicyclists because they are in such great condition compared to the general population!
and my DH & I have an agreement. It's totally okay to look. and to enjoy looking :rolleyes:

Thank you now I don't feel like I'm the only woman that goes nuts over a nice looking pair of legs and the tight booty in the spandex don't hurt either!:D Plus, you have to give it to em, it takes alot to get to looking like that. Hey I was just talking about this with one of cycling buddies (woman). About how much fun it is to watch the cat 1-2-3 races because the guys are usually so hot. Big muscular quads, razor cut calves, and yeah nice butt. Usually have a nicely sculpted upper body as well. Just muscular enough to look good but not over the top. I have had one of my teammates comment that I was enjoying the races a little to much for that reason. I pretended I had no idea what he was talking about.:D ;) Now if I could just get some of those guys in the pace line ahead of me.;) :)

I generally arrive at the club rides with enough time to spare to survey the eye candy. Especially on non-race days, there's plenty of it. I'm probably 15years older than many of them, but who cares!

Unfortunately, once the ride starts, I hardly ever see any of them again. Instead, I get to ride with the older gentlemen who don't look as hot in their spandex shorts as they once did. :o

Mmmm. What a great thread.

There were a couple of cyclists that rode by my parents every day when I lived there. They were hot. It wasn't just their firm, athletic physiques that attracted me, but they seemed so driven and focused as well. I admired and wondered about them often.

This was one discussion that I just had to weigh in on. As a middle aged mother of five I have also not lost my desire or ability to check out the cyclists on the road. I just have to careful I don't get into an accident while doing so. It's not just the cyclists, it's the swimmers too. I recently started swimming with a master's group and just because they're not in college anymore doesn't mean squat!

Even though I'm spoken for, I don't mind a look or 2.A lot of the groups I ride with have these great lookin guys, but not all of them are college age. This past weekend, I was in the A group and some of these guys were ahead of me;) :D and when we came to a stop, I noticed that there middle aged or older and they could have easily competed with the young guns, both on the road and in physique:D .

I hooked onto a group of 7 HOT HOT guys the other day for about 4 miles(i was about to turn around to go home) and then they convinced me to pull, so I only got to see their hot behinds for about a mile. but boy were they gorgeous! and they had great accents! What is it about the combination?

oh and jenn, I might be voluntering for the abq crit/century day if I don't ride(probably not back into that good of shape yet...) I need the points for the sportz outdoor team(we all have to volunteer at a certain number of events)

Great Vid - awesome soundtrack too. Great thread - as I've mentioned here before, eye candy is only 1 of the perks of riding along the Ocean all summer long. Between the cyclists, the lifeguards, the joggers, the beach vollyballers, etc - my average speed drops wayyyyy down. ;) Thank goodness for that cool ocean breeze!

I met Greg Lemond at a party at the home of my LBS owner. He was travelling with some Trek reps unveiling his new line of bikes.
Greg has the most AMAZING eyes. Swooooon!!!!
He looks, eh...okay when younger, but he has definitely aged well. A bit huskier, but I think a million times more handsome.

I know I'm going to sound like a mother of five kids, but where are their helmets? The way they ride they probably have a much better chance of their heads hitting pavement than most people. The guy with the bloody head and leg reminds me of a show that just started on MTV called "Scarred." It's really disgusting and I wouldn't recommend it.

Many of those days are from the days before the UCI required helmet usage. It wasn't until fairly recently that helmet usage became regular in road racing, and it was only a few years ago that riders were banned from to discarding their helmets for the finish of a stage if and only if it was a mountain top finish and only at the bottom of the last climb.

The gender of the individuals in the relationship makes no difference - I have been in the same situation for 7 years....and I am in a heterosexual relationship. Sadly, the state of VA passed a definition of marriage last year, effectively barring those of us in non-traditional (whatever that is) relationships from having any rights at all.

So, Meg, you were right - he's not single. What was I thinking?? :eek:

Don't know for me, and where your hubby is starting from, but I noticed changes in my own lower body in the first few months I had been cycling. Actually I didn't noticed, but someone complimented. It showed on my bum first, and only later on my legs. (The running helped that...) :D

I just have to add that I think it's a prerequisite to be hot if you're a male cyclist. I've dated 2 cyclists (one was a triathlete); and DANNG! they were fine ;) Lots of luscious lean, defined muscles. And cycling does wonders for the derierre ;)

I don't have pic of my DH but I cannot believe the sexy legs/butt he has since he started cycling. It is truly amazing how hot cyclists are!

I watch all the pro races on Versus, I have the DVR set to record them all. It is fun to watch all the men!

Here's a set of legs for ya...I keep this on my desktop for several reasons, but mainly in the desperate hope that I can get my legs looking half as good as these! :)

My DH doesn't ride (except with me on my active recovery days), but he has legs to kill for! If I can ever get him to pose for a photo, I'll load it, but he's rather camera shy.

For now, I'll have to settle for looking at the legs of the Giro riders! :rolleyes: oh, Darn!!!

DH is on his way, Sunday riding behind him WOW, even with Kaitlyn's trailer behind him that even has her mini license plate with her name. His legs are SWEET!! So, I'm working just as hard, why can't women's cut down like that!?
