Saddle Survey Response posted to forums by Administrator:
I'm kind of an odd ball. There's something funny about the way my nerves are routed, so anytime my weight is on my sit bones, the balls of my feet & my toes go numb. It's not just cycling. I noticed this problem when I took up sea kayaking a decade ago. Even sitting at the edge of a hard chair will make my feet go numb. I've tried women's saddles, and it makes it worse. I ultimately settled on a Julie Furtado Race Day saddle by Bontrager. It's a unisex saddle. In reality, I picked it because it's yellow, as is my handlebar tape. Like mom told me, "No one ever said 'be comfortable', just 'be cute'."
