Hey everyone!
My name is Becia, and I'm a newbie (sorta). :)
I came across this site last night after doing some searching and some thinking, and I can honestly say THANK YOU! I used to bike a lot when I was younger, but a few years ago, my bike was stolen (thank goodness not one of my old racing bikes, but a cheap mountain bike I bought to ride around the neighborhood on), and I haven't been riding since.
I'm formerly from Wichita Falls, TX (Home of the Hotter n' Hell Hundred bike race), but now call Bryan/College Station my home. A few weeks ago, I got into my head of doing the race again, as I did it twice as a kid before I moved. It was a lot of fun, and I honestly miss the health benefits of biking. So here I go on my crazy/weird adventure of working on my bikes again (if they're even in workable condition anymore), and preparing a few months out from the race.
This website is just awesome. I love the info, I love the store (although I'm poor and cannot afford it, lol), and I love this forum. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to being part of the group :)
