dawes - anyone ride one of these?

Does anyone ride a Dawes road bike? Any opinions on these inexpensive bikes? Thanks

My little sister has one. I think it's the Giro 3000, 2005 model. She likes it, but it's the first road bike she has owned, so she doesn't have anthing to compare it with. She used it for a couple of triathlons last year.

If you want me to ask her anything specific about it I can, but not for another month because she's out of email and phone contact at the moment (somewhere in Africa).
