It may be the weather, which has been terrible, or my allergies which are terrible, but I am dog tired today and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO unmotivated, which is not like me at all.
I have a run scheduled and I am waiting for the DH to call me to confirm, and would take nothing at all for me to blow it off, have him come on home, put on some music, open a bottle of wine and bag the workout!
Tired triathlete.....tired......
Just a thought - do you think your body is trying to tell you something? Is it maybe time for a rest?
Hugs and happy energetic butterflies,

Yeah, in addition to your body, that bottle is calling your name, too. It does not have to be empty at the end of the night but I am a firm believer in the antioxidants in a glass of wine...
Or do like I did. I just spent 45 minutes on the edge of nirvana....
...noooo, not what you are thinking....
Shiatsu massage. Wow. My first.

Yep...I may just bag it. I have a good solid foundation right now and missing a workout is not going to sink the ship. I have a tough ride coming up this weekend so having fresh legs for that would be nice.
Being tired is not usually a red flag for me, but lack of motivation is. I always look forward to my workouts.

Hope you bagged it RnR, couse I'd say that was the best option. I've pulled the plug on several workouts in the last 1.5 weeks. Too much stress, allergies and the like. Guess what, I had a great ride and run today and I didn't lose a bit of fitness, even though I hardly trained at all last week.
So rest if you need it.

I did. When my husband called to confirm, I told him how I was feeling, and he said " if you go, will it be a productive workout? "
Nope....
So he came on home, we had some wine, watched Harry Potter and chilled on the couch.
I made the right move for sure.
