So, my first multiday ride is in two months. I'm nervous about doing it. I'm pretty confident that I can do it, I just wonder how comfortable it will be. I got some pretty good rides in last summer...

Over the fall and winter I tried to go to cycling class at least twice a week, as often as I was able. During the fall my schedule sometimes allowed for three times. I only signed up for twice a week during the spring semester, I was on the road a lot for work. Those weeks I used the treadmill at the hotel. I also ran once or twice a week (ideally) when I was home. Now, there were a few weeks that I couldn't do much of anything.

I did get a couple of outside rides in during the middle of March. One 12 or 15 and an 18 or so and a 36. The 36 was in Pierre, there were a couple healthy hills (well, up the dam and then a hill or two to get into town). I felt really good after that ride, I could've ridden longer. That ride wasn't really what you'd call a high pressure ride though either.

The end of March and so far in April the weather has been horrible... cold and rainy and bleh. I've been trying to get to cycling class a couple times, though I only made it once this week. I ran twice so far and plan to get out on my bike for at least 30 tomorrow.

My fiance and I are working on preparing our house to sell too. I'm just reviewing everything that needs to be done in the next two months and with an August wedding creeping up... :D

Sorry for the long post, but do you think I'll be able to handle the tour? I'm pretty sure that I will. I have to. But, I'm nervous. I do realize that it's not a race afterall. There are plenty of people that tackle things like this with less training, I've noticed.
