Input on a bike

Hi Guys. I need some input on a bike. My friend has an opportunity to get a 2006 WSD Trek 1500 in her size for 700.00 dollars.The bike has been ridden twice.
I am not a roadie, so I have no help to offer her.

Do any of you have this bike? Do you like it? Is she getting a decent deal?

Financially speaking, that's a good deal on a decent bike. How does she know it's "her size?" If it really is, I'd suggest she go for it.
