I've seen this brand mentioned several times. Anbody tried their shorts or knickers?

I like that they look less spandexy. How's the chamois and the seams?

TIA,

I haven't tried them on, but I've fondled them...
(if I try them on and they fit, I'd have to buy them, and I can't do that)

They are very nicely made, tidy seams, sturdy. The gusset of the Houlihan shorts is a lighter stretchy fabric than the camo part of the shorts.

The Houlihan shorts don't have a liner or a chamois, from what I remember.

I yearn for the Houlihan's in a sad and hopeless way... $70 is an awful lot for a pair of shorts, but they are made in the U.S. And they do say "Harlot" in big red embroidery on the butt. :D

Ok, Knott, and when did you fondle the shorts?

Snap, just close the thread now why don'tcha.

It says these shorts "make middle aged women feel 19 again" !!!

My bike already makes me feel 19, can they make me LQQK 19?

Or forget the looks can I just have my abs and knees back?

Besides shorts they also have Wooly Beaver Socks

I like the knee high socks with the stars up the back.

I also like that some of the shorts have back pockets. But, notably, the jersies don't.

I tried on a pair of the Harlot Houghlihan shorts today.

bummer.

Better fit than most casual shorts, but still snug at the hips and loose at the waist. Very comfy, though, and VERY nicely made. If I weren't so vain I'd've been happy to ride in these.

I suppose if I'd tried a larger size and worn a belt, they would've fit better, but I will settle for nothing less than perfection! (at that price)

By the Way: Harlot Houghlihan shorts are on sale at Recycled Cycles for $50. www.recycledcycles.com. All sizes available as of this afternoon.
