Hey guys,

I hear about baseball players and other professional athletes having a routine.. almost like a superstition or perhaps even a meditation thing that they do before a competition. Something simple to just chewing gum or a whole routine like eating pasta the night before and eggs and protein shake the morning of and then a power nap before...

So I'm wondering what you all do out there? Do you have a "thing" or a process that you go thru to prep yourself mentally and/or physically before a big ride?

I guess mine is:

Try to sleep well the night before, drink lots of water, eat oatmeal in the am and just have a quiet breakfast to prepare mentally. Then jsut take a deep breathe and go...

Einstein's Good Grains bagel with peanut butter and their vanilla hazelnut coffee. Only coffee I ever drink is on the way to a ride.
