I'm riding the MS150 charity ride April 21-22. it's 100 miles the first day and 80 miles the second day. I'd like to invest in some really comfy cycling shorts for long distance cycling. Any recommendations?
Has anyone tried the LG Carbon Ion HFlexx shorts or the Shebeest SB Ultra D Shorts?
Thanks, michele

After contemplating the loads of shorts on offer I finally went with Assos (same price as the LG Carbon shorts). Im going to try them out tomorrow. I will let you know how they work out.:)

I just got the Shebeest SB Ultra D Shorts. I like the way they fit and the chamois seems SUPER, but I've only ridden the most 25 miles on them so far, so I can't tell you about how they'd be for 100 miles! The most I've ever ridden at one time so far is a wimpy 40 miles. :( I hope to change that to at LEAST 60 this summer.

Did 33 miles today and the shorts felt good. I like the chamois a lot and the rear only elastic waistband felt great. I have an organized metric in a week and a century the week after so I will try them out on the longer distances but Im pretty sure they will become my favourite shorts for longer rides.
Good luck with your short shopping.

I wore the shebeest Ultra Ds on my 62 miler last weekend and will probably wear them on my 300k Saturday. They were quite comfy. I have never tried any LG's, but they have gotten some good reviews.
Assos are also great distance shorts. I have done a number of double centuries in them. Mine seem (to me) be be more warmer weather shorts so I have not been wearing them as much. The material is a little thinner and they are a little shorter. May just be the specific ones I have. Super comfy chamois, though!

You could be right about that MP. I havent tried them without tights over the top. Its been a little too chilly up here in the mornings for my temperamental knees to go uncovered.
