I'm having a hard time deciding what to get here, and while searching helped a good deal, I would like some direct comparisons.

I've narrowed it down to the Shebeest Pedal Pushers, Sheila Moon V Knickers, and Witches Britches. I'm quite happy with the SheLastic chamois (I own one pair of the PP already), but the waistband on the V Knickers sounds comfy as I currently have a 40"-41" hip/34" waist. I've also seen that people love the Witches Britches, but with the insulation I worry they'll be too warm to wear through the Minnesota (Twin Cities) summer.

For those of you who have tried these, which did you prefer? Which was the best pair for longer rides? Are any of them too warm once spring is over? Any other thoughts?

Thanks. :D

I have both the Pedal Pushers and the Witches Britches. (Got on quite a knicker tear last year. :D )

I wore the PPs on the first 200 miles of my 600k last year. (I actually wore them the whole 600k, but "doubled up" for the last 175 miles and wore clean shorts under the already-worn PPs.) They were great for a long ride - no problems at all. The material is thick, so they may be too warm for warm weather riding.

I haven't worn the WBs for anything longer than 70 or 80 miles. They were fine, too. I would definitely say you don't want to wear the WBs in warmer weather - the knees are QUITE toasty. They are fantastic for cold days. I don't wear long tights much - if it is very cold, the WBs are great.
