I will be in the Portland area at the end of the month, looking for rides. I'm not sure if I will need to rent a bike yet or not. Any comments, suggestions, advise greatly appreciated.

I'm on the other side of the state--Pendleton. But I know Darcy, Suzie and some others are in the P'land area. For your info--We're having a 3-day ride Memorial Day Week-end. It's cheap & fun. There are a number of cyclists from P'land who come to this ride.

Gosh, that ride looks like fun. But I won't be here. I am taking my invalid husband on a cruise to Alaska during that time. I love Pendleton, though, and the entire eastern region of Oregon. It is exceptionally beautiful. Wish I could attend your event ride.
