Buena Vista Bike Fest anyone?

Has anyone ever participated in this event? I'm thinking of doing either the 50 miler or the metric. I know the century is the "it" thing here, but I just did my first metric in August. I'd like to do a century this year, but not in May, not with 5,600 ft gain, and not starting at 8,000 ft. :o Maybe next year.
