Also known as "Extreme Makeover - Bleu Edition"

I had new handlebars, brifters, and brakes put on my Terry Classic. I'm very pleased with the results - now to re-learn how to ride!

I did EXACTLY what you did to my recently retired terry classic. Looks like we even used the same brakes and bars! I loved her and road her until she had too much rust to be safe, and replaced her with a steel isis I converted to a travel bike by adding canti brakes, a touring fork, and s/s couplers. ENJOY her! Seeing the pic makes me miss my classic. She is one great touring bike!

I've never used drop bars and this type of shifter/brake lever :o

Very cool. I have my new Salsa Poco bars sitting on the kitchen table, but my change over isn't as big as yours.

Bleu looks gorgeous! I love her color...beautiful.

I just made a similar change to my classic as well. I did a few things a bit differently to suit the way I will ride her, but she looks very similar (unfortunately in a not so interesting silver color). I'll have to post before and afters as well.

It's funny about the color. When I bought her, they came in Champagne or Indigo Blue. I really wanted Champagne, but no one had one available, so I "settled" for Indigo. Now I love the color! And despite what some may say, I did not buy a blue Subaru just because it matches my bike........:rolleyes:

Ha! That's really funny, because my Classic happens to be the same color as my car, too! How strange! :eek:

I always wanted a classic Ferrari 456 GT in deep midnight blue with blacked out wheels. Now I can see that what I need is my BIKE to have that color scheme! Then I really would love to have my car match my bike! LOL ;)
