Anyone here done this ride???? I was thinking of coming up for it this year and going for the full blown century.
I am from Steuben County and it would be a great excuse to come back and visit friends and family. Would also love to meet any TE members up in the area.
I am hoping to bring my boyfriend with me, as he also rides and loves to climb - but this is also the weekend of Bridge to Bridge - so I may be coming solo.

Oh my gosh...i did this last year..it was a blast...and am doing it again this year..am bringing more friends along for the torture, i mean fun. I didn't do the higlander per say, i did the 100 miles of the lowlander, which offered me plenty of hills. i don't feel like i am capable to do the highlander yet. this years goal is to do the lowlander in better time and then maybe in 08 i will be brave and go for the challenge. look forward to meeting you..

Shelly,
What part of Steuben County are you in?? I am from Painted Post.
Do you stay overnight up at Bristol - or just come up for the day??
Am I understanding this correctly - that there is no official group start - and that you start whenever you want - within reason. ??
How well supported is this ride????
Do you know anyone who rode the 100 with the 11000 ft of climbing last year that I might email some specific questions to???
Thanks.
