Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any charity rides in either North or South Carolina? I will be relocating right in the middle, Greenville SC this summer and want to see if there isn't something I can do in the fall or next spring. Atlanta is only 2 hours away so that might work too. Not sure where to go to find out about these. I think the best way to ride would be to give something back to the community at the same time, especially since I am not a very good rider and it is actually alot of work for me!

Any information is appreciated!!

Heather

Sorry no one has answered. Have you tried active.com?

Cycle North Carolina and BRAT (Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee). These are not charity rides but they are nice weeklong rides.

There are a number of MS Society MS150's in the area. I don't know what is in SC, but there are at least 3 in NC.

Here is the national list. If you check out Sept and Oct, you'll see most of the ones in this area. I ride the BB&T Tour to Tanglewood ride, but they are all supposed to be quite good.

Most of the NC Rides (charity and non) will be listed here:

Sorry I didn't see the original query, and welcome to the Carolinas.

The Wheels of Fire century is this weekend. Another one we're all looking forward to is 3-State 3-Mountain. We might get a big group up for that one.
