You know, Lance is inspiring and all that, but what I'm really looking for are posters of famous women racers. Am I blind, google incompetent, or does something like this truly not exist???
Please help.

I suppose you could find a pic you like on the net, "borrow it, and print it out. It would be difficult to get it poster sized though.

well, we have some female racers on here! Maybe you could get a photo of one of them?
Graham Watson does have some women's racing on his web site (ex. - world cup elite womens field http://grahamwatson.com/gw/imagedocs.nsf/updateframesetcall?openform&06worldWrr )
You can get them fairly big - 12 x 18, the catch is they are super expensive.... $80 since I think that they are real photographic prints.

Thanks for the link, Eden, they were great. (and some looked like they had lipstick on ? )
It is too bad they are so expensive, I'd like a poster like that in my office!

I was just searching for women's road racing posters! (And, oops, Eden, I sent you a PM before I found this thread.)
I asked the TE store whether or not they sold them, and they said no, but try contacting women's pro teams to see about publicity posters they might have.
Just today, I sent out about 10 emails to a few teams and some manufacturers who sponsor women's teams. If I get any kind of positive response, I will let you all know.

Well this isn't about female racers, or about posters, but the TE member with Trek in her name posted a great photo to a thread a few weeks ago. It was a photo she took of these cyclists on day three of last year's ride from San Francisco to LA to raise money for AIDs. The cyclists were going up a steep climb, and the ladies in the foreground were off their bikes and walking because the grade was very steep and there had already been 20 miles of climbs, and the female cyclists in the background appeared to be moving very slowly. I love that photo. I copied it and made it the background photo on my computer, the photo for the desk top background. Every morning when I turn on my computer I see the women and the incredible spirit they display. No, they are not racers, just ordinary female cyclists.
My advice is if it is posters you are wanting, then find photos you really like, and get permission to have the photos made into posters. I think the print shops will produce a poster for you from a jpg file. If you print a photo, that is part of publishing a photo, and you have to get permission. But for someone like me, who is only going to use it on a personal computer and not publish it, I don't think you have to get permission. At least I didn't ask permission to copy the photo, I just did it.
This is the screensaver I use. No females in it either. But it is still inspiring.

If its local women's racing you might be wanting I might be able to oblige with that - though they are mostly my own team.....
I've poked around on some of the pro women's team's web sites, but I haven't seen any posters for sale.
