I couldn't find a thread already started, so forgive me if there is already one out there.
Thank you very, very much to my Feb SS (don't know who you are, tho..).
I LOVED the combo of cycling and girlie things (pretty heart socks and hair scrunchie- both I've used already) and the yummy energy foods (I LOVE sport beans and I can't wait to try the gels- haven't had that flavor before).
Just want to say I love it and appreciate your thoughtfulness!!!!!
By the way- the card was awesome- where did you find it??

Thank you again!!! I love this SS thing- always makes my day when I come home to a package smiling at my doorstep. You ladies are the BEST!!!! :D :D :D

Thank you SS from California for the cute hand knitted hat. Just in time for the freezing cold weather here in the Northeast. I don't know (yet) who you are but you sure can knit! Such a thoughtful, warm gift. LOVE IT:D

My SS is a baker :) She made the most exquisite homemade cookies w/ beautiful icing. They're Delicious!! They're perfect and she had my name and Valentine's wish on one along with a card. Thankyou sooo much, they're wonderful and I appreciate all the thoughtfulness and time that went into it.
(I don't know who you are other than you're from California). Jennifer

Huge thanks to my SS for the great box of goodies, including the handknitted scarf--gorgeous!--that arrived just in time for a cold snap in north Florida--we had ice along the bayshore yesterday morning!!! Thanks also for the other neat things--the bag o' gels, the cute little tealight dish, the red/pink M&Ms--mmmmm!

No idea who you are, but you sure have some great gift-giving skills! :D Thanks again!

SS... I LOVE YOU :D :) :D
You made me so happy. Everything is great but my favorite is, as you could assume, shirt with hearts... it's toooooo adorable....
And I love it even more cause in Croatia there is no place for me to buy such cute girly bike things. I usually buy small sizes of man clothes. In these two years that I'm riding my bike I saw just one pinky T-Shirt but the material was awful so I haven't bought it, and the other two that I saw and bought were unisex. Light blue and light green... :(
I can't wait for sunny days to come. I'm so thrilled about it. I see myself already... Long blond hair with red thing (don't know what's the word) in it wearing cute little shirts with hearts that match my red bike socks. I'll be the cutest girl on the bike  Have I mention that red is the best color of my boyfriend :p
BTW small size fits me perfectly :D

I would like to thank the other TE SS that sent me before many cute things, it means very much to me. Every one of you added some bike accessory that I adore cause it's unique on our streets.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU VERY MUCH

P.S.there is one TE sister that haven't received her gift still. Sorry it took so long for me to sent it but I hand made it, and meanwhile I got ill ... etc, etc... it's in the mail... hope you'll like it... remember it's from the hart ;)

SOMEbody up in Seattle (or is that down in Seattle? definitely over in Seattle, as seen from here) ... anyways ... SOMEbody in Seattle does a mean "Still life with bike" in pastels! Lovely!!! :P :) And a crocheted hat in just my shade of red (burgundy) for those "bad hair days". Plus sunflowers-on-red socks to remind me that Spring will come, eventually. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Now I wonder who you are ...? Trek, did you see anybody crocheting a burgundy cap while you were up there? Or doing pastel drawings?

Duck, Seattle is south of you for sure.
There are many of us here, but only one of us recently took up crochet again.
I'm glad you like your hat, it was a lot of fun to make. I am a sometime artist,
I struggle with pastels from time to time. Drawing bikes is part of the way that I learn
about bikes.
Hope you like yours.

Like the necklace? I love it!!!! It's just my style.

Ambler is pretty close to Phoenixville...PM me if you're interested in riding sometime!

Well, my secret sister outdid herself. Cool sox, a handmade seed bracelet (real seeds) chocolate covered espresso beans and peanutbutter valentines candy.

I got a bunny on a bike too. I had no idea how it worked i pushed it back and forth... then DH got home put it on the floor and pulled a string and the thing took off. Hilarious!

We have plans for that bunny

Thanks for your fun colorful gift, dear SS in Maryland. COuld it be Regina?

Once again I made my coworkers jealous that they don't have a Secret Sister when I received my package today.

My wonderful Missouri Secret Sister sent me lots of great goodies. Homemade soaps, sponge, lip balm (great for snowboarding this time of year), a yummy smelling candle, and one of my fav energy snacks - Sport Beans.

I end up taking most of my showers at the gym and I'm sick of their harsh generic soap. I think I'll have to make myself feel special by bringing the sponge and one of the bars and leave them in my locker there.

What a treat to come home to a wonderful box of Wisconsin-themed goodies! Thank you, Sue, for introducing me to your home state in this way. I've never even been close to WI, so I really enjoyed the post cards (especially the skier with the - uh - facial icicles :p ) and all your notes. The coffees will be brewed and enjoyed on lazy Saturday mornings in my new WI mug. Took me a second to figure out the coaster :D . Socks, always appreciated. Sorry the Badgers lost to Ohio State :( . The handcrafted insect (cricket? katydid? firefly?) is lovely and is on the shelf behind me as I type. The crocheted potholder really made me smile. I had a grandmother who crocheted as well. I'll think of you this weekend while I'm baking.

Dinner was late tonight because I was having too much fun unpacking my treats! Thanks again!

Went to the Post Office today and there it was sitting there from yesterday.
Immediately saw it was from OZ and then sneaked a look at the customs declaration - Tim Tams. Ot with my trusty Swiss Army pocket knife - somebody else was using the collective scissors- and inside the postie envelope I found a beautiful collection of things.
An expensive fluffy towel in a lovely shade of Cab Sav, a red silk-covered embroidered Chinese box with chocs , a red aromatherapy candle and Love-Potion Tim Tams! And a bike-card in a chartreuse envelope!
Everywhere it was written "Your Feb ss" and then I saw in tiny tiny writing her name...
Thank you Thea V!

To my SS from Wisconsin (mtbdarby??)- thank you so much for the cool stuff.

You have no idea how timely the sports beans were. I needed to go for a ride after work tonight (I am doing a nine day tour starting in 10 days and hadn't ridden for a couple of days). Half way home from work I realise that I had been stuck in meetings all afternoon and hadn't eaten an afternoon snack (which I need to do a good evening ride)). I also realised that I don't really have any carbo snacks in the pantry. Then I get home and there it is!! I've read about sports beans here and on a running forum I hang out on, but they aren't easily available here in NZ so I hadn't tried them before.

The wallet is very cool too. When bf and I go for a day long ride I generally grab an ATM card and $20 and throw them in a jersey pocket - but they do get sweaty and I worry about the risk that I will drop something when reaching into the pocket for something else.

The 'smellies' will get good use too - I'll be doing my longest ride for about 15 months on Sunday so a nice long soak in the bath will defintely be called for after that.

Thank you!!

We discussed this last month , I think.
Seems like everyone is really happy with what they receive and the love and thought do not evaporate on the long postal journeys.
I always have to send overseas too, and so I tried to keep it light this time after going totally overboard sending a 1 kg jar of honey and a 250 gram jar of homemade jam (nett weight that is not including the glass jar!) the previous month! Crazy but such fun!

btw, Thistle, I ate the last Paddingtion chocolate a couple of hours ago - it was coconut, my favourite.

Mine worst calculations are: it takes them 2 days to send the gift from my post office to the one in our capital city, and perhaps 2 more from that office to air station, and I'll add 2 more till they send it over ocean. And I really don't think that it needs more than 8 days for that packet to somehow comes to it's receiver... All together it's 2 weeks.

Or is it possible for gift to travel from Europe to America more than 20 days?
For the sake of my SS I surely hope so.

Well - it arrived sometime this week. We were away all week - skiing in Colorado - and just got back today. The box was waiting on our front porch -and it was the first thing I dove into! Forget that pile of bills - my Secret Sister package arrived! Yay!
Thank you Secret Sister in Washington...Colby? Fun stuff - Burt's Bees lipbalm, socks, a neat red waterbottle (that will be great on the kayak) filled with lots of yummy treats, and a blizzard of little hearts with skiing and biking themes! :p
Thank you!!

Guilty, Regina. Sorry it was so late, I was buried at work for what seemed to be all of February and most of March. :o

I was worried about the ski-themed stuff hoping I didn't misread your posts. WHEW!! ;)

Thank you Secret Sister!

This week has been No Fun At All, and getting a package of goodies (instead of more work) in my door was just what I needed.

Love the cookies, I'll haul the book along when we ride the Katy Trail, Shot Blocs are always handy, and I'll wear the Team Estrogen tatoo on RAGBRAI this year. Heck, I even loved the happy Smiley Face paper the book was wrapped in!

Thanks again,
