I haven't seen Offthegrid on here or on Beginner Triathlete for over a week now. Nothing posted.

The last I heard... she was spending the weekend with a new boyfriend... then POOF she was gone.

Anyone hear from her? I hope she is OK and that she hasn't lost motivation. I hope she isn't deathly ill or something bad like that. Hhhuuummmm?

Or maybe they're just busy making goo-goo eyes at each other? ;) :D

I guess she taking "off the grid" literally right now. I hope everything is OK!

I'm around ... but you're right, I have been very low on motivation.

Honestly it's been soooooooo cold I just can't get myself out the door at 5:30 a.m. to go swimming, which I totally need to start doing again.

I've gone on a few hikes and walks with my new BF, and it's just so exciting and wonderful and I find myself skipping workouts. Bad Susie! He has said he'll go mountain biking with me, though, but neither of us have mountain bikes yet. :(

He's just so totally wonderful. My ex-fiance just wanted to sit on the couch and watch TV. I'd go to the Jersey Shore with my ex, and he refused to get in the water. This guy loves being outdoors, loves camping, loves canoeing, loves hiking, loves swimming (not laps, but being in the water). He doesn't love biking yet, but I bet he'll pick that up, too, after we get bikes.

BF is visiting this week on vacation and he's going to come to the gym with me every night but Tuesday because that's my weigh-loss meeting night. Knowing him, he'll seriously kick my butt. We're totally crazy about each other so it's tough to spend any time apart. But that'll settle down I'm sure in time.

Suzie,

Happy to hear you are still alive and kicking!

Awe, that sounds very sweet, you and Thomas! I wish you two the best of luck.

I'm also happy to hear he is going to the gym with you! Would hate to see you get derailed by a love interest- although it would be understandable.

Have a great week with your sweetie!

Pics? Where??? :)

We took some pics of us on our hike yesterday, but those haven't been downloaded yet. He said I looked like a babushka because I was so bundled up. :D

Here are two pics (http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?p=168510#post168510) from earlier this month. Ain't he a cutie?

And I *finally* figured out what to get him to round out his Valentine's Day presents. Just in time!

You are both too cute together!!!! Would love to see you as a babushka on your hike- sounds like me all bundled up! :D

Glad you're still around, and being in love is a good thing to be. I'm glad you have similar interests and that he supports your active lifestyle!!!!
Where does he live (assuming he lives far away from you since you said he was in town for a week)?

Yay- OTG is back among the living TE'ers! :)

Tygab, yup, he will probably come along to Lake Placid! I bet he'd love to kayak or canoe (as well as hike), so I'll have to look into renting something for us. He won't be able to do long-distance bike rides, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I went on one decent ride without him if I include him in other stuff we do.

Although I might have to change my assignment if I get the female change tent. :o And nope, I haven't gotten my assignment yet.

Tri girl, he lives an hour away from me now, but we actually started chatting because he's planning to move to my town later this year. Although I suspect he'll be moving here sooner than that now. :D

OTG,

You might want to post something on the Beginner Triathlete site so that people over there can stop worrying about you, too.
