Tour of California

DH and I will be headed down to watch some of the Tour of California in a couple of weeks. We will be there for stages 3,4 and 5. Any hints on good places to watch? We are bringing our bikes and hope to get in a little riding too so any suggestions on good places to ride would also be appreciated. Thanks.

They have more people who are familiar with the area. (You could try the Northern California forum, but they aren't very active)

I will be at stages 5 and 7.
But hurry! I had a hard time finding a hotel room for the time trial stage. I have to do a job in Buellton (next to Solvang) that week so it worked out perfectly.
