Well, my story so far.

For my soon to be five year old grandson, my son asked if I could I find one of those football alarm clocks that you turn off by throwing at the wall.

(Soccer ball alarm clock, throw to shut off, great gift. Item number: 8733615574. Seller: thenecexities

Easier said than done, searched the internet and the only place I came up with was USA ebay. Somebody living in Azusa, CA.

Have confirmed my bid but it appears the person does not want to send it to the UK....................sh*t!

So, I am doing the last thing I can think of and that is appealing to somebody on this site to help me.

What I need is some kind/helpful/saint to agree to having the parcel sent to their home and then forwarding to mine in the UK. Obviously I will arrange to pay via Paypal to that person or sort out the money in some way.

What more can I say...............apart from please.

No problem, Clockwork. I will be happy to do it.

I have to go the the post office and do international mailings anyway (some "Secret" stuff for February, if you know what I mean) so I can do it for you.

Hey Jo, that was such a very kind offer.

That is what makes sites like this so very special, rarely do people judge you, probably as they do not know you.

You are a complete stranger to me and yet you are prepared to help me out like this.

BTW..............I have had a peep on your website before, your paintings are amazing.

May you go through life without any punctures.............http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/Missbe/horse.gif

Only a few minutes before receiving your kind offer, I received a PM from my SS..................Snapdragon, yup, she is going to help me out.

Thanx again.

And just to correct you, I did indeed already judge you. I was thinking, "What kind of yahoo calls soccer... FOOTBALL!" :D

So would I! Its neat that our community is helpful this way. I was in the same situation once with a bike part that I desperately needed, but the seller would only ship to a UK address. I wasn't able to buy it, but later found a UK bike shop that had it and was willing to ship to the USA. SO does this mean we can open ourselves to international ebay shopping? Only on a womens forum........

Cheers m'dear.

Hey roguedog

I remember you offering to help out once before, when one guy in the States did not know how to send a decal to me.

So, when I see a nice new MTB, I might get you to arrange the shipping for me!

Hope things are good with you.

Glad he liked it! I received a little parcel myself! Thank you very much, it wasn't necessary - but so cute. If I can get a decent picture I will post it.
