Have you seen this? A cycling jersey to ward off agressive drivers. Some people in St. Louis are wearing these and the reviews are amazing.
Even the police are starting to take notice:

I've heard of this. What are the police saying?
I note the "I support" is rather small so all that most drivers are likely to see is the big "county police". I wouldn't wonder agressive drivers would be better behaved...

I love this! Bet it'd work better than NASCAR numbers around these parts...or a Confederate battle flag! OK, I'm not meaning any offense now, but I do see a lot of those plastered all over the flashy big pick-ups that seem most offended by my being on the road...

My non scientific study shows:
I don't get many problems with agressive drivers but feel it's less so with
single color jerseys that look rather plain shirt like or....
anything red white and blue like my rails-to-trails jersey. Even in this blue'est of blue states I've never had a problem. Knock on wood

Skorts. Cars tend to be much nicer to me when I'm wearing a skort.
don't know how well my Hawaiian print skort would fly with a "police" jersey, though.... :p
This may seem counter intuitive, but I find that I'm treated better by cars in the city when wearing my team kit than on the race bike than when I take the Marin out in street clothes.
Why dont' we vote for a better drivers education, that would make a big change... then we wouldn't have to come up with jersey's and other saftyproducts like this, which I like of course in this moment.
