... this came up in a thread about music - after 35 years, WETA has decided they're going classical again *and* canning her show. Last one is on right now (www.weta.org) if you like folk music ... she's playin' a lot of songs about leaving...

LOL - I saw WETA and I thought - wow! Who has seen a weta? Then i thought, no... it says show... it'll be to do with Peter Jackson's Weta Workshop in Wellington...

Oh! This is so sad! I lived in DC for 15 years and listened to Mary Cliff every Saturday that I could. Booo on whoever made that decision!

Welp, turns out the show is on tape (wonder whose idea it was) and she's sitting by her computer listening and answering emails. So I already know she's talking to another station who doesn't mind if she also does satellite... so it coudl be *two* shows before too long.
