View Full Version : Anyone still use compression shorts/tights?

I was wondering if anyone still wears those snug "compression" shorts/tights? If so, do you find that they help during a workout (keep muscles warmer and stop the jiggles)? I wore them in my 20's and they worked pretty well for keeping my quads warm.

I don't even know if they come in bigger sizes but I'd love to find something that would sort of snug up the jiggles I get when trying to run or play raquetball...I swear getting older and droopier makes for some interesting gym challenges. :D

Most of the Underarmour stuff is compression!

I used the wear those, too, but have found that the CW-X knickers/tights are much better. I have the expert knickers for cold weather running (even wore them in a sprint tri) and feel they really hold the muscles together. They are kinda pricey, but worth it.

The trick is to get a a size that is a performance fit (i.e. a little too snug for couch-lounging) rather than a comfort-fit. You might try a search for CW-X in this thread, as a number of gals here use 'em.

Queen,
I like UA for compression. I only use it for running though, not biking. It is pricey (for my budget) but their Frosty Tights are nice.

Thanks for the input, I know the surplus place sells UA so I'll give them a look.
