Here's a nice article from today's Raleigh paper about a local rider who organizes group rides for "slower" riders (10-15mph), and has found huge demand. Makes me want to join up - I've never joined a group ride in part for fear that my 14-15mph pace would embarass me.

Knot, Cascade Bike Club has lots of rides called "Easy" "Leisurely" or "Social"
most rides are faster though.

Ironically, that was my team name at the 24-9 mtb race 2 years ago! And we did it proud:p
