Hep, directions and driving time to the Claremont

I have to be at the Claremont in Berkeley tomorrow morning. Absolutely no later than 8 am,

How much time should I plan due to traffic?

And are these the directions I want?

Northeast Direction Heading Southwest On Hwy 680
Take Hwy 680 South to Hwy 24 West. Follow Hwy 24 through the Caldecott Tunnel and take Hwy 13 Berkeley exit. Proceed straight through traffic light. Hotel entrance is 3/4 mile on the right.

What a pain. At least I didn't have to go for the entire 3 days with meetings from sun-up until bedtime. Those make SK a cranky girl.

Hopefully you've gone to bed now, since you have to get up so early ;). 680 southbound shouldn't be too bad, but the 24 will be at that time. I would guesstimate 45 mins from the 680/24 junction to the hotel...

the directions are good. You shouldn't have any problems if you are at the tunnel by 7:30am. Just leave a little early and go to Peet's Coffee which is right next to the Claremont:

I found the Peet's on my lunch time walk - after I'd already had Starbucks in the hotel. I don't care what BikeMomma says. :eek:

I left here at 6 am and arrived at the Claremont at 7:16 so I had a nice nap in the parking lot.:p

My VP "asked" me to go back tomorrow but I can go in later. I'll try to time it so I hit the tunnel before 7:30. Thanks, Cindy.
