WAHOOOO! We added another small loop to the loop we did last week and it was, if it's possible, even MORE fun!!

And the Gore Tex pants meant I did not get wet at all!! YAY!!

Lisa, do you have any snow yet? Are you still cycling?

Hi T,
I am so glad you are enjoying the snowshoeing so much!! :) And you solved your wet bum problem!!!
It's so fun to find something to do together outside that is so much fun. I can't WAIT to snowshoe too, but I will just have to!
Today was SEVENTY DEGREES here in upstate NY!!!! Yesterday 60, tomorrow 55 or so. Needless to say we are STILL waiting for our first snowfall- totally BIZARRE.
But it's good biking weather! :p DH and I meeting two friends for a ride after breakfast tomorrow, supposed to be sunny. I was a matchmaker and told them about each other a bit and arranged for them to meet for the first time at a town party for the humane society this evening. They liked each other a LOT! :p So tomorrow the 4 of us are going for a bike ride. I love it!! ;)

This weather sure is crazy, but it's great to be able to take advantage of it! Fabulous that you're still biking! Cool story about that nice couple you got together ;)

Hey, we just looked at our stats....we both burned twice as many calories by adding only about 18 minutes of work; covered around 1.5km more in that time; we each had an average speed of 1 kph faster over that time; and my Average HR was actually *lower*! I think that last bit is a sign of increased fitness already (I hope anyway). How great is that?

Have fun tomorrow!

Hugs,
~T~

Hey LBTC and others interested in snowshoeing....I just started a new thread for snowshoeing under the "Other Sports" forum. That way this thread won't get buried under the avanlanche of new threads here in "OpenTopic/Non-cycling" forum.
So if you have new posts about snowshoeing from now on, hopefully we can exchnage info and enthusiasm in the "OtherSports>Snowshoeing" thread.
Hope to see you there!
(still waiting for the necessary 4" of snow, but getting more hopeful)
