The second season of our super-successful learn-to-race program (the Tri-Flow Women's Development Racing Program) kicks off at the end of January. This is a focused, small-group clinic that will teach you everything you know to have a successful first bike race.
During the 6-8 week program, we meet twice weekly -- once indoors for a focused, high-intensity workout and once outdoors for skills, tactics, and group riding. In addition, each participant receives a custom training program designed just for that program, along with a personalized orientation program and incredible racing handbook.
And clothes! Did I mention the clothes? This year's Tri-Flow kit is redesigned and hotter than ever and only available to women who participate in this program.
In addition, you also receive a USA Cycling race license and the registration for your race.
Most of last year's Tri-Flow racers have continued racing. Many of the are on this year's Team Velo Girls. One of them is already a CAT3!!! There are amazing opportunities to keep racing available once you complete the program. And there's no better way to begin than by participating in this one-of-a kind, focused, supportive program.
Our first program will focus on the Bariani Road Race in Zamora. This is the perfect first race -- almost completely flat with very gentle rollers! The race is March 18th and training begins on January 29th. Early registration deadline is January 15th.
I would encourage you to register early. We only accept 8 women into each program. Our San Ardo program in 2006 sold out and we turned participants away.
If you're interested in joining the program, shoot me an email and I can send more information.
