Hi all. I am new to this site and love it so far.
I was wondering if you can answer a question.
I have the Johnny G Spinner. How often should I be doing it?
I have been doing it 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening 3 days a week. I have like 40 pounds to lose and I have been eating really clean for 3 months now. Am I doing it too much? not enough? HELP please. You all are so knowledgable I thought someone could help. I am really dedicated to getting back into shape. The weight loss is slow and I thought maybe I am doing something wrong.

I appreciate all your help.

Have a healthy and blessed day!!:D

I am not sure what a Johnny G Spinner is...stationary bike? But, I know from experience with working out with a trainer that anything you do for 30 min's a day that raises your heart rate and makes you sweat will burn fat and inches. So, if you're able to spin 30 min's a day, go for it. How do you feel afterwards? If you feel fatigue past normal "post exercise" fatigue; or if you feel uncomfortable during the day afterwards, you're probably doing too much. I used to go to a workout facility called "Curves for Women" and I loved it. I never once came home feeling lethargic or fatigued and never woke up the next morning sore or tired.

So, I guess it is all in how you feel. At what pace are you riding? What are you consuming during the day (fats, carbos, proteins...) I have found it all goes together. I can ride my bike 3 days a week at a higher cadence and longer distances than the other 3 days a week when I "recover". Then I rest one day.

Hope this helps.
