Hi ya,
I need some input tri girls...
I went shopping today for a tri top. I have a pair of tri shorts, and I need a top. I tried on several by Zoot, did not like 'em. Too cut in by the chest if that makes any sense. I am very small busted, but they still left me feeling exposed and uncomfortable.

What do you all like????

While we are at it wet suit suggestions that don't cost a million bucks....

thanks in advance

Ruth

Hey Ruth,
I like Sugoi tri tops. They are a tight fit (on me they fit differently than Zoot), but I like the breathability and feel of the material.
I have a QR wetsuit, and really like it (a long john).

Oooooo, is there a tri shop in your town? What else are you looking for??? :)

I have matching Desoto tri shorts and top that I think are pretty and feel nice.

The wetsuits I don't know because I'm not going to buy one until I've lost at least 50 more pounds.

I don't like Zoot either. I am also small busted but it feels like the rib cage area is really restricted for me.

Previously, I've used Sugoi and I like those. Usually you have lots of options in terms of mesh backs, liners etc. Some of my friends complain that they aren't supportive enough in the bust. But then, that's one of the many advantages to being small busted.

I have have some other lean mean tri girl friends that are not as muscular as I am that like Oomph.

Bottom line, you gotta be able to tri it on and it has to be snug, like a swim suit or it will stretch out too much when wet.

Yes, Zoot is a bit low-cut. I have also had problems with Louis Garneau tops. They chafe horribly, and are a bit too see-through.

My FAVORITE are the new tops by Descente:

Super comfy and very functional. Like most tri clothing, the Descente tops do run slightly small.
