I just know you gals will understand this....
I've had about 4 weeks where i've hardly been able to ride at all.... maybe 3 times, and not to work at all. But today... I'm back on my bike :D :D
I rode into work ... it was absolutely beautiful! I overtook two fit looking guys (i think they were talking too much to be riding hard :) - but it still felt good!).
I've been so worried that i'd be right back where i was before i started riding :( , but i'm not :) My legs certainly felt it, and i think the ride home will be hard (more uphill) but i was only 30 secs off my pb for home-to-work ride :D
I am sooooo happy. I am sooooooooooooooooo happy to be back on my bike :D :D Just needed to share!
Have decided since i rode quite a lot this year i'm taking the big step of NOT buying a parking permit for work next year. Hell, why would i need one when i'm an all-seasons cyclist now :D
