Hee hee! I don't know whether to go for a ride or start some disco to be Lance's dancing queen! Guess what song will be stuck in my head for my long ride tomorrow?

more Lance Jokes

I got this from the ALC board where they got this from the Grizzly Peak Cyclists listserv, so skip it if you've seen it:

A devoted cyclist, a real dedicated dude, woke up at the crack of dawn for his regular Saturday morning ride. He slipped quietly from bed so as not to wake his wife, dressed silently in the next room, and got his bike ready. But when he opened the door, he saw pouring rain. He thought of toughing it out; Lance Armstrong wouldn't be held back by a little rain, would he? But then he looked at the weather forecast: rain followed by hail followed by sleet, accompanied by gale-force winds--and decided not even Lance would go out today. And besides--he brightened up--there are other ways to spend Saturday morning, aren't there? He slipped off his clothes, got back into bed, and cuddled up to his wife's warm backside. "It's raining cats and dogs out there," he murmured.
"I know," she replied sleepily. "Can you believe my idiot husband is out riding in it?"

hey alpinerabbit - is this the style of riding outfits you have in Switzerland?

I knew there must be a positive side (beside fitness) to riding in those huge alps. :D
