Hi there,
I'll be in Eastern Washington and Oregon in late August/early Sept 2007. With my bike!
Where might I find out about organized century rides (or sub-century rides) in that timeframe? Can you share any experiences or advice about the rides?
Thanks!

Mariposa, There's Cycle Oregon which is a week-long supported ride. However, it moves around and may not be in Eastern OR this year.
We have a very active bicycle club in Pendleton, OR, and we'd love to have you join us. We ride every Saturday--usually starting at 8 am--from 40-60 miles. We could do a longer one in your honor!
There are possibly some other rides--check bicyclepaper.com.
PM me when time gets closer, and we'll arrange something. We have great rides out here--lovely scenery & very little traffic.

Several big rides in E WA that time of year, Tour de Lacs comes to mind as one of them
www.roundandround.com should have an events calendar
