As long as someone decides to run it. :) I'm moving back to the UK right after Christmas, so it won't be me doing the organising for January!

I will gladly volunteer to organize this for as of Friday I'm on vacation until January 3rd. What will the theme be for January? How about "Baby It's Cold Outside!" - your favorite warm drinks, socks, hats, etc? Let's pick a theme and settle on it by this Saturday (12/16) at which time those who wish to participate can PM me. I'll get it organize and have names out by December 29th.

I like that theme!.. as long as we're sensitive to our Other-Side-of-the-Earth friends in Australia and New Zealand!

I like the cold outside theme. If you get someone who is currently experiencing warm weather, you can get you favorite summer things (Polar bottle, moisture wicking headband, etc). I can still find summer items at REI and our LBS.

Well I figure if sheep can wear wool in the summertime, then why can't we humans as well? ;) I plan on giving those micro merino tanks and tees a try this summer...should wick well and be nice and breezy I hope.

Several people have already sent me a PM with name and address - boy you guys are quick!

It appears the theme "Baby It's Cold Outside" (for those of us in the northern hemisphere) and "Baby It's Hot Outside (for those in the southern hemisphere) is a go. Please include your shoe/sock size so if you SS wants to include some warm, fuzzy socks they can surprise you with a pair that fits. If you have already sent me a PM send a second with this information if you did not already include it in your first PM.

I will not even begin to tackle this project until next week so the window of opportunity is still wide open so jump on in and have some fun. I'm going to close the window of opportunity at noon (EST) on Friday the 22 so I can get this organized and send out names the following week.

Back to grading papers!

Keep sending in your names! The list is growing with each passing day - as of this morning I have 26 ladies who wish to participate. Remember, all names must be submitted by 12/22 (noon EST) so that I can get names out by the end of the month (really I'm aiming for no later than the 26th).

Salsa-it's up to the person sending the item-if it's more convenient to send winter stuff that's cool. Can you buy summer items atm up yonder way?

Here is a question for former SS organizers - is it okay for us to participate in the month we organize?

Marcie- I did. You just won't have the secret part of the game. Unless you can come up with a creative way to assign yourself to someone. :)
