Finally! A Ride!!

I finally got a ride in after three weeks! It was great. It was only 17 miles on the bike path, but I thought that was pretty decent after three weeks of no riding at all. My speed was decent and I didn't really start to slow down until mile 16. It was great to be on the bike path again!

Hey are you guys getting this great weather? I'm "next -door" in IN and we are supposed to be in the low 80s today. Yipeeee!

I have a ride-date at noon, gotta go pump up the tires.

We ARE finally getting good weather! When the temps have been decent and it's dry, the wind has been howling. I HATE the wind. It's supposed to be nice all weekend, so I'm hoping to get in at least two more rides. I'm signed up for my first cycling club event in another week, and I was starting to worry that I embarrass myself if I didn't get some ride time in before then.
