HELP!! I'm obsessed with these tights. I want a pair, I want a pair, but they cost a small fortune. I can't seem to find them here in New brunswick. But from what I read, these are the best. I have Sugoi tights and love them, but would like a pair with more seams. I think these seams really work in supporting my muscles.

Does anyone have a pair for sale. I take a medium (5'6"-120lbs)

I have them and they are wonderful. Sierra Trading Post is closing out some of last year's models at 50% off. There may be a few left in your size:

You might also try eBay. Good luck!

I looked for them yesterday, too, while printing off Christmas wish stuff for my husband. They were gone. Thank goodness they reappeared!!

Now you see 'em, now you don't...

Actually, they were so popular during our recent CW-X promo that we completely sold out. We got a new shipment yesterday afternoon, so they went back online again around 5pm last night.

CW-X is a new brand for us - when we get a new brand, it's hard for us to initially judge demand and make sure we have sufficient quantities in stock. So sorry for any confusion!

Despite my best interests you guys have got me interested. BUT! I have a few questions:

1. I am 5'2" and a size 4- which size is for me?
2. what is the deal with 3/4 tights- why not the full length
3. are tehy warm? I live in Minnesota and like to ski- but freeze my butt off u nless it is polypropylene and then some on these gams (please note the picture).
4. are tehy uncomfortable to wear on a random day? or are they sports only tights?

Hey Box,

I am close to your size, 5-1 and a 0/2. I tried the 3/4 tights in both small and X-Small. For warmth, I'm not sure they can brave a Minnesota winter (I use them in 50° California weather)

The Small fit comfortably (kinda like bike shorts) and since they stretch I though they would be fine. However, once I wore them on a run, I found that the jarring workout forced me to pull them up or adjust them every once in a while. I could probably wear these over bike shorts (since they have no chamois) and be fine, esp. at the waist since I am bent over on my bike.

The X-Small, although not a "comfort fit" for lounging around the house, were much better for running. They were VERY snug... but they are supposed to be that way. It made a huge difference in feeling that my muscles were being held together. When they called them "performance tights" they weren't kidding.

For cycling, I'm not yet sold that these are the best tights for the money, as they are kinda expensive (talking about the warmth-factor). For running, I can't think of anything better. Hope this helps.

Aha! I knew I wasn't going crazy!

Can anyone comment on what the waistline/rise is like on these things? And is the full-length a heavier warmer fabric than the 3/4 length?

Rise is at "natural waist", not low-rise. The full-length is the Insulator (warmer) fabric. The 3/4 is the regular (lighter) weight. In the spring, I think we'll have the tight in the lighter weight as well, but went with the insulator weight for the winter.

Thanks as always for the straight dope. Natural waist I can live with. Verging on the ribcage... not so much. :p

What's funny is how "subjective" alot of this is.

I am most assuredly not a low-rise kind of gal. Just about every pair of bottoms I own covers my belly button. It's what I'm used to. To alot of women though, especially women in their twenties, covering one's belly button is akin to wearing something up to the chin!

I have no problem with *other* people wearing low-rise bottoms. But I feel like they're falling off of me when I try them on.

He, too true! I find I've got such a short straddle that a lot of stuff rides too high. It's not so bad when I'm standing up, but if I'm bending over at the waist while on a bike it definitely cuts into my digestion. I frequently just roll waistbands down if they aren't cut low enough to begin with. I know it ain't pretty, but me puking on the side of the road ain't too pretty either! Maybe TMI, whoops... :p
