Seems cyclists are much more likely to enjoy their commute, even factoring in those folks who think it's a sign of not being able to have a car...

Oh, yes :D But I suspect the reason this statistic exists is that it's too much work to keep it up if you don't enjoy it!

Nice article, thanks for posting it. They don't discuss the "thwarted-cyclist-stuck-in-car-wishing-she-had-just-ridden-today" phenomenon, though. :rolleyes:

Right! That's me today ... and prbly tomorrow too :( :( :( :( (Trying to accept this... especially since as it turned out I COULD HAVE RIDDEN TODAY... it never really froze... but it's supposed to in a few hours...)

The article did note just how few cyclists there are - yea, basically, if you don't like it you're not going to do it. Everybody has to *get* to work, but most people don't *have* to ride their bikes.
