Hi, I'm ISO a small frame road bike - my first.
My partner has been praying I'd fall in love with cycling and it finally happened after a grueling week-long ride thru Umbria this summer. (Honest, there was a day with no downhills whatsoever - just road from one hill town to an even higher hill town.) Anyway, I'm hooked now.
I have a Trek 7500 hybrid that I use to get around San Francsico and commute sometimes. But I have signed up for ALC 6 SF to LA in June and am certain a road bike would make that experience a wee bit more fun.
So far, my favorites are an SR500 Cannondale Petite ($800 and in LA) and a Giant OCR 2 small ($750). I also tried a Bianchi Eros Donna 44 for $900 and a Specialized Dolce Multisport 44 at $650.
I'd love to hear opinions on these bikes and prices (or others) but my BIG hopes are pinned on someone out there having a good bike at a fair price she is interested in finding a great home for.
thanks and happy wheels. Laura
