Hi...
SOOO...I got my DREAM BIKE...well my dream road bike that is.
A trek Madone SL 5.2 with a custom project one paint job.
Next will be a pink mountain bike frame...maybe one day..

I saw you in your sleeveless tank and thought "Geez, does she live in California or something?"...Hah! :rolleyes: We're piling on the wool layers over here!

We are enjoying some awesome weather for mid november, I was able to leave the house @ 7am with just a sleeveless jersey, gotta love it :)

it's not warm here either. High winds and after a lovely day of BLUE SKY
we've got wet dark nasty weather.

Did you have a bike fit done? have fun, enjoy the bike.

Hey Karen- someday we may meet on the trail. I ride with Joy all the time- a midweek morning Chix. But wow- with that new Madone, I dunno. You'll be crusin the Conejo all the time. Maybe space mountain one of these nights.

That bike is totally awesome. It suits you. The two of you look beautiful together. You will really stand out in the group rides as being extra special.

I got my handebars wrapped in pink tape too. I have the Pilot 5.2 WSD, which is a pearl pink frame. I love the pink handlebars, especially when just about everyone else on the road has plain black.

You've also inspired me to go with the pink bar tape! I was going to replace the black but that just seems too boring now (my bike is black and white with tiny pink accents)!

I hope you and the bike enjoy many many fun miles together! And I, too, envy the sleevless jersey at Thanksgiving! I just ordered some shoe covers because I'm tired of the cold air blowing through on the downhills - send some warm east, would ya? :D

I love the bike - I just got the 2007 Orbea Orca in black and white and have pink bar tape on it. Unfortunately I am too tall to fit the WSD Diva that Orbea makes in pink and black. I want pink water bottle cages on mine as well - where did you get yours???

Enjoy your ride - my last bike was a Trek carbon and it was so smooth....... You will certainly stand out in a crowd on that bike!! And - you can keep you man from riding it too!!! (my boyfriend and I ride the same frame size - and even the pink bar tape hasn't kept him from the Orca)

I got the water bottle cages at my local LBS, you can probably order them from from your local shop...
But don't forget the Polar Insulated Water bottles!!!! They come in PINK!!!
