I know this sounds really goofy, but my past 2 rides, I've had an issue with my shorts/rear chamois getting caught in the nose of my saddle when I was leaving stop signs.
Does this mean I need smaller shorts, or do I need to find a pair of shorts with a smaller chamois? I have 2 pairs of PI's with the Touring Chamois.

I now stay away from PIs. My Castellis and Trek Criterium shorts have resulted in moon-free riding.

My experience with this phenomenon is that it occurs when I wear shorts that are too big.
Never happens with my Terry skorts, probably because the skirt fabric just slides over the nose of the saddle.
(watch, now that I've said the dreaded "never", it'll happen next time I ride!)

I don't have anything helpful to suggest, I just like the title of this thread.

Oh I've been down that road. It has even happened in a spin class. For me it helps to step up onto my forward pedal and then set my butt onto the seat from above (as if you are sitting down after a standing effort on your bike. It happens most to me when I just try to slide onto a saddle.

ok.. sort of a thread drift...
so i see the title of this thread, "Shorts caught in saddle" and then the thread below is "The thrill of the draft" and a couple threads up is "Seat slippage issue"...
sorry just made me chuckle....
