It's been cool to watch more young girls turn into rippers. There have always been good young skiers, but I think you're seeing more girls pushing the limits. 10 years ago I was often the only woman tele skier on the mountain (in California--south shore), sometimes the only tele skier, and now the tele girls are taking over. Some of those girls are just amazing.

There are a bunch of great women's clinics in the rockies and elsewhere. I took one of Heather Paul's clinics (http://www.ultimategrooves.com/) several years ago at Kirkwood in California, and skied Shasta with Babes in the Backcountry (http://www.babesinthebackcountry.com/). I know that there are also local clinics all over. Women who love to ski should take an all women's clinic or go on an all women's ski trip; nothing like spending several days with other women that love the sport as much as you do. It's very energizing and loads of fun.

That being said, I plan to go skiing on Saturday! :D
