Last week I was the LAST person on the sign-up sheet for the class, and I got there as soon as I could. My gym is near a velodrome, so in the winter apparently you have to get there an hour early to get a bike, which is impossible because of work.

Guess I'm going to be joining the 6 a.m. class! Word is that one never fills up. I just wonder what my co-workers will think when I hobble into work and can't move. :D

Wow that sucks. Luckily everytime I have been spinning (a whooping 4 times so far) I have gotten in. It would so suck if I couldn't as nothing has been as good for my overall health and weight loss as biking......... spinning is as close as I can get during the week this time of year.....

Do they offer more than one evening class per night? Say at like 6 and then at 7?

Have only attended a few spin classes before we bought our own spin bike... I had to be booked in early in the day at the latest - usually by the day before

The couple of times I turned up just before class, I disappointingly missed out!

No, the only time at this branch is 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. And I'm betting if it's full Mondays, then it'll be full Thursdays.

Honestly they need to add another class, but if they did that and used the same sign up system, it would be full, too. They should give preference to your first class that week and then you can only go a second time if others haven't gotten in a class yet.

I'm going to suck it up and try 6 a.m.

I spin at 5:30 AM. The nice thing is - no matter what happens during the day, you've got your workout in.

Evening classes fill quickly at my gym too. People save bikes for other people who have not shown up yet (even though there is a sign up list....grrr!). It becomes quite rabid in the evening. No thanks.
