I recently snagged a pair at a warehouse sale. They were the only clothes I found but also bought a couple of aluminum water bottles. As the fabric is somewhat thinner than would I would have expected, I wasn't sure I would like them. They fit comfortably with a little looseness and extra length for the dryer to trim.

I was a prior wool skeptic, remembering the itchy wool sweaters of yore. These feel like stretchy silk/cotton. They sit lower on the hips and have a draw string (think sweat/yoga pants) waist. Comfy. Fabulous. 95% Merino with 5% lycra. You can wear them alone or layered. Black is especially flattering for us with ample bootitude. I wear them for apres bike, apres ski, around the house and out.
It is true that wool provides more warmth with less bulk than fleece but also does a more efficient job moderating body temperature.
Maybe Susan could be persuaded to carry them? :)

My bootitude wants a pair of these in black. http://www.ibexwear.com/F06/View_Product.php?GarmentID=635&thePhoto=../Photos/F06/0453_1203.jpg&Category=1047&CategoryLine= Not sure my booty is worth $125, though... darn.

We are all worth it. I must find a way to get these and Ibex tights.

I have a girlfriend who gets Ibex stuff too. She showed me her Ibex Loose Tights and they are SWEET. They drape really nicely and are so soft and comfy. Great shape and cut, so well made. She kept telling me I "had to" get some, but so far I've resisted....

Even the Loose Tights that didn't fit me were soooooo great I hated to send them back.
But really, I can't spend that kind of money.... maybe they'll be on clearance in the spring again.

:: envy ::
Still dreaming of having bootitude... tired of the back of my pants looking like half-deflated balloons. :(

Bluetree- it's all in your attitude (or should I say bootitude?). Are the balloons half deflated, or half inflated?

Bridges: the booty miracle
Lie on your back. Knees bent and feet on floor.
Hold your belly muscles flat. But don't hold your breath.
Squeeze your butt.
Use your butt muscles to lift your hips from the floor 6-8 inches. (make a "bridge", get it?) Slooooowly.
Slooooowly lower your hips back down to the floor.
Repeat 40 times. Take rest breaks often.
When you can do 40 without a rest break, do 2 sets of 40.

Thanks Knot. I actually do have pretty strong gluts, they're just kinda pancake flat. Ah... genetics. Thanks mom!
I like the looks of the twister pants in Driftwood color. Kinda sharp for some comfort pants. They're on Steep & Cheep right now for only $31.88 (Reg. $84.95). Wish it came in my size!
