Today was my first ride with these. I'm pretty happy with them. The leg grippers don't work so well with my gargantuan calves. They ride up a bit, enough to notice, not enough to drive me crazy on a 50 mile ride. I will be trying them on something longer.
They are not as warm as the Exte Ondas and they felt a little slippery at first on the bike.
I love the chamois. It was very comfortable the whole day. It hits in all the right places and didn't creep anywhere it shouldn't.

How does that chamois compare with the one in the Exte Ondos? Better, same?

I found them both pretty comfortable. If EO had a non bib short version, I probably would have canceled my Assos order since it took like a month to be fulfilled. But since I'm also hunting around for another pair of shorts, I wanted to give the Assos chamois a try.

Yikes, a month! Where'd you order them? And if I may ask, how much did you pay for them?

I ordered from Team Cyclist. They didn't have any in stock so needed to wait for Assos to make more I guess. I did get weekly e mail updates from them.
They were $180 plus shipping and tax. I know that sounds expensive, but if I wear them for even one double century, that's less than a dollar a mile for a happy tush. :D

I was wondering because not too long ago I saw them on eBay for $145. The price was good, considering what they would cost elsewhere, but since I couldn't return them, and I've never seen a pair in person, I decided not to buy them.
How's the sizing, as compared to other brands like Shebeest, LG, Pearl Izumi...?

I would say comparable to Louis Garneau or Exte Ondo. I don't have any Shebeest or PI stuff.

Cari, you need to go up a size in Assos. I wear a medium in shorts from PI, Shebeest, Castelli, Descente, Terry and Hincapie. I need a large in Assos. The chamois is very different from all of the above but very nice.
Thanks, Sadie & Veronica. :)
