I discovered some road construction projects this morning. Made it through without meeting the pavement(thanks, guy with lifted truck and Lots o' lights!). I was feeling good, so I got some extra miles in. Still real dark. Maybe next week..

Had a chilly commute this morning...it was 35F, my coldest ride yet! I was suprisingly comfy though. LOVE my new Showers Pass jacket...and my tights were just right! I was a little slower than usual, but I didn't feel like pushing it on the hills at all...I just kept spinning.

Unfortunately, when I get to work, I take about 5 minutes to put my stuff away and rack my bike (on my car, which I leave here) and in that time, I went from "comfortable" to "violently shaking" lickety-split. Not good. I'll have to figure out a new way of doing this when it's cold so that I'm not miserable.

Oh, and my new little detour to cut off some bad traffic turns out to be a bit of a challenge. On the way home last night, I didn't notice it, but on the way in, it's ALL uphill. Bummer! :p
