Some more photos... I finally got my friend's files to play with.
I've been feeling very confident this spring. I had the realiziation in the middle of the night that I need to have an awareness of the differences between cocky and confident. :D
We have a lot of sharp basalt rocks here. This trail was built by the CCC in the 30's. Funny how the drop into totally intimidated me last time I rode it, about a year ago:

It's full of the angular babyhead sized things that you have to just motor over ( my friend, sorry about the fuzzy shot)

This is at our other favorite riding spot, this area is full of boulders and natural features, everything from little beginner rocks to 8' gap jumps (not for me!!) We call this spot the play ground because you can just ride around in circles and hit all sorts of different stuff. It's a good place to get comfortable riding slickrock type stuff.

Now, I had to hike my bike up to this. I just had a wild hair to ride it, since it was not an "air" move, wheels on the ground all the way
