I know there are a bunch of fellow Terry Pratchett fans here so I thought I'd report: Wintersmith is a riot! It's the third in the Tiffany Aching series (she's the latest young witch in training). The Wee Free Men are more hilarious than ever and are joined by Horace the sentient blue cheese, and Nanny Ogg has a good role again.
Also, the latest Borders members email says Bill Bryson now has another book: The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid: A Memoir. So, I'll be off to find that this weekend.
And, I just bought the latest Charles Frazier book (the author of Cold Mountain). The pile is growing faster than I can read. Oh waily, waily! Ach, crivens!:p
