I had to take off the front wheel and I've put it back on but now my Sigma that counts the miles etc. is not working. I'm sorta a newbie, is there a way to get it working again. It does nothing when I start to ride so I guess I've unhooked something when I took the wheel off.

Any advice would be helpful.

Not that I am an expert, but I am guessing that there are really two simple possibilities. You either dislodged or misaligned the little magnet or piece that is located on a spoke your front wheel or dislodged or misaligned the part that is located on your fork. Either way, easy fix. Fnd that little part on the spoke and make sure that it is passing the reader (that is the part that sits on your fork and reads how many times/fast the piece on your spoke goes by) no further away than about 5 mm. They also need to be lined up so that the spoke piece is basically centered on the piece mounted on your fork.

If that sounds too confusing, I can probably get you a link to their site where they have pictures - sometimes I need pictures to help me figure it out!:D

Don't take this wrong if you have checked this ...but since it is the front wheel ...have you checked you put the wheel back on the same way? (so that the magnet on the spoke is on the same side as the sensor). My lbs owner has told me he has had people bring bikes in complaining that their computer doesn't work and what has happened is they have put the wheel back on the other way

Thank you both for the advice. I'm new to the cycling thing so it's VERY likely that I do have the wheel on the wrong way. I thought I was careful to do it right, but I must have not.

I'll check it out. Thanks again for being so helpful.:)
